Born in Lockport N.Y., He was the son of the late James and Evelyn (Daigler) Fritton and was a graduate of the Desales Catholic School.
He was employed in the Community Development Office for three years and was the director of the United Way of Oswego for eighteen years.
He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid golfer.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, the former, Carol Smith, one son, Aaron (Eileen) Fritton of Oswego and two grandchildren, Kylie and Cole Fritton along with several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00- 7:00 at the Dowdle Funeral Home. .
