Growing up in Oceanside, NY, Joe was the eldest sibling to his cherished sisters: Nancy and AnneMarie. He built a successful career as a real estate agent, working in both New York and Spring Hill, Florida, where his warm personality and sharp instincts earned him trust and respect in the communities he served.
Joe had a true zest for life. He enjoyed travels to England, Australia, South Africa, and British Columbia. He was a lover of old sports cars and a connoisseur of classic rock. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he proudly rooted for his beloved New York teams: the Yankees, Giants, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers.
In 2020, Joe moved to Oswego to live with his sister AnneMarie and her husband Peter. There, he became the heart of many family dinners and long, meaningful conversations. He treasured his role as uncle to Hannah, Patricia, Dean, Daniel, and Heather, and as great-uncle to Harrison, Desmond, Winona, Isabelle, Saoirse, Wesley, and Simeon. Joe’s warmth and humor was a gift to us all.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 10 at 11:00am at Elim Grace Church. All are welcome to attend and share in remembering the life of this generous and loving man.
