Born in Rome, he was the son of the late Julius Simiele Sr. and Gloria (Widrig) LaLonde.
Julius worked in TV repairs and installation in the Northeast region for many years. He was an avid gardener and could grow anything bountifully. He had many gardens around his property and worked in them daily. He loved cats and took in strays regularly. He heated his garage through many winters just to give them a warm place to stay until they would come inside. Julius dedicated much of his time and resources to coach multiple soccer teams for his daughter and many girls in Camden during their school years. He thoroughly enjoyed his time with the soccer community.
Julius is survived by his daughter Kimberly (Brian) Parker of Cazenovia, his sisters Toni (Ron) Purdy of Parish, Jacqueline Barry of Oswego, and Rhonda (David) Burr of Oswego, four loved grandchildren Declan, Tenley, Keegan, and Kipton, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Julius was predeceased by his brother Gerald Anthony Simiele.
A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
