The Oswego County Health Department launches its “Living Well with Cancer: Surviving and Thriving” workshop series on Oct. 2.

The interactive program continues every Thursday for six weeks at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic, 70 Bunner St., Oswego. Each session runs from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and the program is open to county residents.

The series aims to help adults who live with, are in remission from, or care for someone living with or in remission from, cancer. Participants will learn techniques to better manage the disease and its treatment options. Classes cover issues such as fatigue, pain, body changes, shortness of breath, stress and difficult emotions.

To register, call Zachary Kingsley at 315-349-3382 or visit https://health.oswegocounty.com/.
