Write a commentOn Sunday, May 19th at 10:00 a.m., make your own nature inspired pinch pot at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center.
Pinch pots are an easy way to make a beautiful piece of pottery; simply pinch the clay into the shape desired by using your hands and fingers. Participants will collect pine needles, pinecones, flowers, and more to create patterns and indents on their air-dry clay pots to create a nature-themed pinch pot that will truly be one of a kind. Registration is required for this program as space is limited - youth and adults are welcome to sign up. Registration can be found on the CCE website: https://thatscooperativeextension.org/events. Please register youth from the same family in one registration form.
The fee for these programs is only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free! The recommended age for these programs is 5+. All youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Even if you are unable to attend the programs, trails at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. There is no parking fee, and there is a map of the trails when you arrive.
