Just one week after rolling over the Four Sevens Motorsports No. 74, Mike Bond returned to Oswego Speedway's Turning Stone Resort Casino Victory Lane as a part of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Night presented by Bosco & Geers Food Market and Oswego County Federal Credit Union.

In unusual fashion, Bond started the 30-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS event from outside row number one due to his lackluster showings in previous weeks, but in typical fashion Bond took advantage leading all 30 circuits over his teammate Jon Tesoriero in grabbing his second victory of 2013 and series leading 29th career triumph.
Tesoriero, JJ Andrews, Russ Brown and Bryan Haynes filled the top five runners at race's end.
"First off, I have to thank my guys; we worked our butts of this week to get this thing back together and it ran flawless tonight," Bond said. "I got to thank Denise Merrill, she gives me everything I need, my wife, Dan Dennie and all the FFB guys."
Bond's victory helps slightly in his battle with Brown for the season long point battle which will come to an end at the Fall Championship Sept. 14, but the victory may be too little too late in trying to chase down the No. 13.
"I think he (Brown) has got it pretty much sewn up," Bond said. "Russ is a great guy; I love to race with him. His guys actually gave me a front bumper so I could race last week. This was a long week for us but it paid off."
Tesoriero and Bond brought the SBS field to green on Saturday with Bond pulling right to the point from the outside of the front row. Before long though caution lights would wave as Jack Patrick found the inside hub rail on the front straight in the No. 9 ending his night just one week after reaching victory lane.
Patrick was caught out in a front stretch skirmish which saw him shoved hard into the inside hub rail. Patrick was ok, but his ride took on considerable damage.
On the restart Bond went back where he left off, charging away to the race lead in convincing fashion over Tesoriero, Haynes, Andrews and Danny Abt.
Andrews wasted little time in finding his way by Haynes for third, who had a tremendous night in the No. 86. From there, Andrews drew a bead on the back bumper of the Tesoriero No. 47 and did not leave it for the remainder of the event.
As the race passed the 1/3 mark, Brown and Dalton Doyle began to move through the field further back. Doyle would dive under Jason Simmons for eighth in turn four bringing Andrew Schartner and Chris Proud with him and shortly after Brown would make his way under Kreig Heroth for 6th in turn three.
Another caution at lap 14, this time for Zach Amo and AJ Bernys, would tighten the field once again with Bond leading Tesoriero, Andrews, Haynes, Abt, Brown, Heroth, Doyle, Proud and Schartner.
On the restart, Brown was able to advance yet again, this time driving around Abt for fifth.
Caution lights would come on again at lap 19 as Heroth, Schartner, and Scott Shafer all came together exiting turn two. Heroth was able to pull away while Schartner initially looked to be done for the night as a result of heavy left side contact from the Shafer No. 76. Shafer sustained heavy front end damage ending his night, while Schartner walked back to the pit area before climbing back inside the No. 18 and returning to the Speedway just prior to the restart.
It was around this time that championship hopeful Simmons broke a shock on the No. 98 forcing him to pit lane, dropping him out of the top 10. The Simmons No. 98 would return to the Speedway.
Once back to green, Bond continued out in front with Andrews again applying heavy pressure to Tesoriero for second ahead of Haynes, Brown, Abt and Proud.
Proud would continue his charge at this point moving to the inside of Abt for sixth on the restart, as he tried to move in on the great battle between Tesoriero, Andrews, Haynes and Brown for second through fifth.
Eventually, Brown was able to work by the Haynes No. 86 for fourth on lap 23, but Haynes would hold his ground from this point on to collect his first career top five finish at Oswego.
Proud's fine run would end on lap 27 with a spin in turn one, bringing out the caution for the final time.
When the green lights came back on, Bond would again check away from the field for his second win of the season over Tesoriero, Andrews, Brown, Haynes, Bernys, Jeremy Pitcher, Anthony Losurdo, Brian Sobus and Doyle.
With an up and down season to this point, Tesoriero was content with his second place effort, especially after a front stretch accident in his qualifying heat race.
"We're getting it back together," Tesoriero said. "The car was going good and was actually pretty fast at the beginning of the night, but we had an unfortunate mishap down in turn four at the beginning of the heat race. We got it back together, it felt alright, but Mike just had a better car than us tonight and we had to fight for whatever we could get for second."
Andrews continued his banner season with the No. 93, chasing Tesoriero nearly the entire race for another podium run.
"I roughed him (Tesoriero) up a little bit, there is probably a hole in his back bumper, but I didn't turn him or anything," Andrews said. "Jon ran good, he did what he had to do, his car was off a little bit but he did a perfect job. It was a tough race, it was frustrating because I felt like I was faster, but faster doesn't mean you can pass."
Heroth, Brown and Bond won Shell Shock Custom Helmet Paint heat race challenge events on Saturday.
Bernys collected the D&S Landscaping 'Hard Charger' Award after being involved in the heat accident with Tesoriero who went on to claim the Nice Price Auto Sales 'Up and Comer.' Brown took home the White's Car Care fourth-place award while Bond earned the Sherwood Racing Wheels Lap Leader award.
