The "Good Guys Barber Shop Mite Team" of the Oswego Minor Hockey Association along with head coach, Josh Flett and assistant coaches Madisyn Bartholomew and Ryan Pratt, visited their sponsor on Friday, December 2nd.

Players received haircuts as sharp as their skates to ready them for their upcoming home tournament. The 35th annual Mite Before Christmas Tournament will take place December 9-11. The first puck drops at 8 AM at the Anthony J Crisafulli (Fort Ontario) rink on Saturday, December 10th. The tournament welcomes over twenty teams this year to Oswego and encourages them to stay and visit with our beautiful city. Each team is encouraged to shop at our stores and dine at our local restaurants. They are all provided with a map of Oswego and the restaurant menus.

The tournament takes place at both the Crisafulli rink and the James P Cullinan (Kingsford Park Elementary School) rink. This year OMHA Mites are working closely with the local Food Pantry at the Human Concerns Center in order to gather as many non perishable items and warm clothing as possible. Each visiting team has been asked for all players and spectators to bring a donation to contribute to our local food pantry on behalf of the OMHA Mites. There’s an additional donation box now at Good Guys Barbershop thanks to Keith Raymond, proprietor.
