Write a commentEverybody Sing! The newly formed Morningstar Resident Choir recently entertained the staff at Morningstar Residential Care Center with its debut performance.
With a theme of “A Salute to Fall” the Resident Choir, under the direction of Morningstar Activities Aide Terry Ehli, sang a number of lively tunes that elicited plenty of hand clapping, foot stomping, and a rousing round of applause from the staff members. The Resident Choir rehearses weekly and is currently practicing songs for its upcoming holiday themed performances.
“It was a fun afternoon for residents and the staff,” said Morningstar Activities Director Kelsey Rose. “The choir is a popular addition and we are welcoming new members each week. The residents love being part of the choir and having the chance to entertain others.”
