For The Kids events are back on this year as the Oswego State Men’s Hockey Team, along with Fraternity Delta Kappa Kappa, look to raise awareness about child abuse and reduce its devastating impact on Oswego County as well as on a national scale. The sole beneficiary of For The Kids campaign is the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County.
For The Kids, which is run by the SUNY Oswego’s Hockey Team as well as the fraternity Delta Kappa Kappa has become quite the successful charity for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County. On Tuesday, March 15th For The Kids held their bowling event.

The Oswego County Historical Society will host the first lecture of the 2016 lecture series on Sunday, April 17 at 1:30 pm at the Richardson-Bates House Museum at 135 E. Third St., Oswego. The presentation by will be given by Rick Sivers on the history of the Richardson Theater. The event is free and open to the public.
On Wednesday, April 20th, participants of the SUNY Oswego Men's Hockey Team along with the Fraternity Brother's of Delta Kappa Kappa received The Suny Oswego Student Involvement Award For Outstanding Service Project for their campaign For The Kids.
The Oswego County Comets' "Blessing of the Bikes" event is set for Saturday, May 21st, while Oswego County Fire and Iron's "Thunder in the Creek" event is planned for Sunday, May 22nd.
For The Kids campaign raised the most it has ever raised in its three years. This year, the Oswego State Men's Hockey Team and Delta Kappa Kappa raised $18,254!
