The Sunoco New York Super Stock Series will join the Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS on the card, while 350 Supermodified teams will receive the night off. The program will also feature Twin 35-lap main events for the big block Supers.
Super Stock drivers will compete in a full program on June 8 set to include a 30-lap main event for the full fendered race cars which will later return for the 50-lap Dave London Memorial on Bud Classic Weekend.
The addition of the June 8 show allows the staggering field of over 40 pre-registered cars to get familiar with Oswego Speedway in what will be the only tune up before the DLM extra distance special on Classic Weekend.
At the conclusion of the feature event held in June, the winner of the race will draw a number to determine the amount of cars who will make the redraw for the Dave London Memorial held on Friday, August 30.
Oswego’s 2019 season will mark the first appearance by Super Stocks since RoC Weekend in 2016. June 8 will be the first time in history that the Sunoco New York Super Stock Series has held an event at the ‘Steel Palace.’

About Oswego Speedway: Oswego Speedway is a 5/8 mile semi-banked pavement racing oval located off the shores of Lake Ontario in scenic Oswego, NY. The speedway has been a continuously run weekly racing venue since August 1951. The premier open-wheel pavement short track cars in the world, Supermodifieds, run weekly at the Oswego Speedway making it the only weekly Supermodified racing venue in the world. The Small Block Supermodifieds and 350 Supermodifieds accompany the full blown Supers on a weekly Saturday night schedule which runs from May through September. Oswego Speedway is mentioned in racing circles as the “Indy of the East,” as no fewer than a dozen past and present competitors have competed at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway including Mario Andretti, two-time Indy 500 champion Gordon Johncock, and former International Classic Champions Bentley Warren, Joe Gosek, and Davey Hamilton.
