The funds have been used to help support the purchase of a display case for Dr. Mary Walker’s Congressional Medal of Honor. Dr. Walker is an Oswego Town native and the only female recipient in history to receive this highest military decoration. The Medal of Honor can be viewed and is currently on display at the Richardson-Bates House Museum, 135 E. 3rd St., Oswego.
