Write a commentThe thirteenth ‘Dirt Track Classic’ at Oswego Kartway will once again serve as the official kickoff to Budweiser International Classic Weekend at Oswego Speedway which takes place August 30 through September 1.
On Thursday evening, dozens of drivers will compete in eleven different divisions for the right to be called ‘Classic Champion.’ The Classic concludes a fifteen race long season for competitors at the ‘Bullring’ located off City Line Road behind the Speedway’s rear grandstand.
Festivities at the Kartway Classic will begin with practice at 6:15pm followed by time trials for all classes at 7:00pm. Extra-distance feature events for all eleven divisions will take place after the qualifying sessions.
Classes participating in the 2019 Kartway Classic will be Jr. Green, Sr. Green, Jr. Unrestricted, State Clone Heavy, Jr. Purple, Masters, Sr. Blue, State Clone Lite, Clone Lite, Clone Super Heavy, and Jr. Wing. More info can be found under the ‘Karts’ tab at OswegoSpeedway.com.
Entry fees for the Kartway Classic will be $30 for registration members, $35 for non-members, $25 for second class members, and $30 for second class non members. Pit passes are $10, while vehicles may park along the perimeter of the property for $5 per car load.
