     The new state-of-the-art student housing facility, Premier Living Suites, located at 247 W. Utica St., was finally be revealed to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Aug. 14.

     Local owners Greg and Patrick Furlong announced that leases for the 2014-15 school year will start being signed as early as September for the 71 beds in the building. An Open House is scheduled for the general public between 2-4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16.

    The new state-of-the-art student housing facility, Premier Living Suites, was finally be revealed to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, today, Wednesday, Aug. 14. Local owners Greg and Patrick Furlong announced that leases for the 2014-15 school year will start being signed as early as September for the 71 beds in the building. An Open House is scheduled for the general public between 2-4 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16. 

    The state-of-the-art building comes fully equipped with a keycard swipe security system that will set concerned parent minds at ease. With 100-plus flat screen televisions in the building, WIFI and cable throughout, a movie theater, a complete fitness center and a gaming room, the real question is "What does Premier Living Suites not have?"

     Each four-bedroom, suite-styled apartment is fully furnished and includes two bathrooms, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a large living room with a 40" flat screen TV, a washer and dryer, a flat screen TV in each bedroom and a porch complete with patio furniture. Everything is all-inclusive in one flat rate, more affordable than living on campus.

     "We even provide a vacuum, a mop and all of the cleaning supplies the students would need to start off in a care package," co-owner Greg Furlong said.

     Each student receives a free on-site assigned parking space for their registered vehicle. The building is also within walking distance from the SUNY Oswego campus and right on the Centro Bus Route for easy access to the city.

     Residents may enjoy a free continental breakfast, free food Fridays, free pizza Mondays, fitness classes and a discount card to local Oswego businesses like Mark's Pizzeria, Kraftees, Lighthouse Lanes and more.
