On Tuesday May 27th at 6pm Texas Roadhouse Oswego is hosting a rib eating contest between the Oswego City Police Department and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department.

The Battle of the Badges competition is the ultimate showdown between our two local forms of law enforcement.

Each team has chosen a charity that Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of all the night sales too. The Sheriff's office has chosen Griffin's Guardians and the Oswego Police Department has decided to raise money for the Lieutenant Don Hill Memorial Scholarship fund.

The competition will have four people on each team who each have to eat four of our fall off the bone ribs, a piece of fresh baked bread and a glass of water. The competitors will compete in a relay race fashion. The competition will be judged by four legendary judges, Sheriff Don Hilton, Police Chief Phillip Cady, Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce Member Engagement and Operations Manager Taylor Davis and Texas Roadhouse’s Andy Armadillo. This event is free to watch and open to all who love delicious flavor.
