Write a commentFormer Oswego resident, Robert "Butch" Nichols Sr., 66, of Norwalk, Conn., passed away Sept. 22, 2013, of heart failure.
Born in Oswego, Dec. 20, 1946, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Beatrice Turner Nichols.
He was married to Delores Nichols with whom he is reunited in heaven.
He is survived by his children Missy, Malynda, Rob, Chris and Matt; three brothers John, Jamie, Bert; three sisters Kim, Carol and Jean; grandchildren, Sabryna, Steven, Jessica, Briana, Marianne, Nicholas and CJ. He is also survived by many others, while not of blood, family none-the-less.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 7, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mexico Village Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home, 112 E. Second St.
