Write a commentThe second round of Oswego Kartway's RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy has been canceled due to rain showers.
With the cancellation, all that remains is the Fall Frenzy 150 finale coming up Friday, Sept. 20.
The Sr. Blue Clone, Jr. Silver Clone, Jr. Blue Clone, Gold Plate, and Open divisions will join the 150-laps of main racing for Stock Heavy and Clone Heavy next Friday.
With only one series event completed Chris Natoli, Chris Knight, Matt Fay and Kylie Sanford have garnered guaranteed starting positions for the Stock Heavy 100-lap main event.
Natoli has two Stock Heavy main event wins this season while Knight and Fay are regulars in the Clone Heavy division, crossing over to compete for the top prize in Stock Heavy.
Sanford is a regular competitor in the North Country, only having run at the Kartway a handful of times this season. Now the young female shoe will be guaranteed to start the 100-lap special at the Bullring on September 20.
In Clone Heavy, Dick Dann, Ricky Pritchard, Rusty Natoli and Ryan Coleman will be guaranteed to take the green flag in the 50-lap main event.
Dann has racked up more than 15 wins this season between various karting facilities in Central New York.
Pritchard and Natoli are regular competitors in the Kartway's Clone Heavy division, looking for their first main events wins of 2013.
Coleman, a former Small Block Super driver at Oswego Speedway, has run a partial schedule this year in the Animal division but found a ride in Chris Parker's No. 88 for the Frenzy and is now locked in.
The best kart racers from across New York State will join the Kartway's regulars next Friday as a handsome purse will be up for grabs to the night's top competitors.
In all, approximately $2,500 in prize money will be up for grabs across the board to the top finishers in the Stock Heavy 100 and Clone Heavy 50 Sept. 20, making the RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy one of the higher paid karting events in Central New York.

Other divisions competing Sept. 20 will be standard entry fees.
Pit gates open on Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. with practice beginning at 6 p.m. Fall Frenzy 150 time trials for Stock Heavy and Clone Heavy will take the green at 7 p.m.
