The Richard S. Shineman Foundation recently provided a generous donation to the Culinary Arts Signature Club at CiTi BOCES, enhancing opportunities for aspiring chefs.

The club empowers students through hands-on projects, competitions, workshops and community service, preparing them for careers in culinary and hospitality industries.

Recently, the Culinary Arts Signature Club showcased its talents by catering the Oswego County Work Ready Community Celebration.

Samuel Passer, Culinary Arts Chef Instructor and Advisor, expressed gratitude on behalf of the students, stating, "We want to acknowledge and thank the Shineman Foundation for their ongoing efforts to support our community and enhance the greater Oswego County region."

Founded in 2012, the Richard S. Shineman Foundation is dedicated to fostering sustainable community growth through innovative ideas, partnerships, and impactful grants. It supports nonprofit organizations in Central New York, with a focus on civic engagement, education, economic development, health, arts and environmental conservation.
