The St. Luke Family of Caring announces the 27th annual Boyce Memorial Golf Tournament to be held on Friday, August 2 at Battle Island Golf Course in Fulton.
Sponsored by Healthway Direct Pharmacy Services, the tournament will benefit activities for residents of the St. Luke health care campus.
The event will be played in the Captain & Crew format, and has a $100 per person entry fee. Team registration is open to the public, and is limited to the first 25 teams that enter. Included with entry are greens fees, cart rental, on-course games (including a $50,000 Hole In One contest), lunch, great door prizes, and an awards presentation immediately following at Kristen's Kitchen at Battle Island.
"We are thankful for the continued support of Healthway Direct Pharmacy Services," said Tournament Director Karen Murray. "Thanks to their support, we are able to provide opportunities for our residents to keep them active and engaged in their communities."
"The proceeds from the tournament will fund events, activities and outings for the more than 300 residents of St. Luke, Bishop's Commons and St Francis Commons," she continued.
The tournament is named after the late Francis Boyce, the first administrator of St. Luke Health Services and past president of the Board of Directors. An avid golfer, Mr. Boyce helped to shape the future of the St. Luke organization during his 35-year tenure.
