With the inaugural RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy 150 ready to take the green Friday, Sept. 20, at Oswego Kartway, state champions Lance Yeager and Ryan Swartz have now declared their intentions to compete for the winner's share of more than $2,000 in prize money at the Bullring.

Coming from Corning, N.Y., Yeager is a multi-time karting main event winner up and down the east coast, including recently being crowned the Clone champion of the Pennsylvania Elite Dirt Karting Series.

The owner of Speed Tech Tire Solutions, Yeager has become widely known as providing competitive tire cutting and prep to several racers in the area.

Yeager, who has qualified and competed for victory on several occasions as a part of the Pro events at the Syracuse Indoor Winter Nationals and the prestigious King of the Concrete in Greensboro, N..C, will first take on the Kartway Friday before packing up and heading south to Pennsylvania for the PA Invitational.

Swartz, a native of St. Johnsville, NY, has competed at Oswego Kartway before, but never in an event quite like the Frenzy.

In 2012, Swartz dominated the Kartway Classic in Stock Light Flathead and was in the lead in Stock Heavy Flathead before losing an engine.

This year, Swartz came back to town for the King of the Kartway events, again going to victory lane in Stock Light. On the same evening, Swartz would take second in Stock Heavy to eventual Kartway track champion and Classic winner Dan Kapuscinski.

Driving the Adrenaline Rush Racing No. 63 entry, Swartz has had quite the season to date including a New York Dirt Kart Series Pro Clone series win at Starlite Speedway worth $500, as well as a Pro Flathead sweep at the Keystone State Open at Susquehanna Speedway worth a hefty $2,000.

A host of other top pilots from across the state are expected to join both Yeager and Swartz in their quest for Fall Frenzy 150 championships this Friday. However, those who invade the Kartway will have to contend with the Bullring's best.

In Clone Heavy, Kartway track champion Joe Hayden, Classic winner Chris Knight, guaranteed starter Dick Dann, former PA series driver DJ Shuman and many more will look to keep the Frenzy championship in the hands of a Kartway regular.
Stock Heavy will see track champion and Classic winner Dan Kapuscinski, guaranteed starter Chris Natoli, Shuman, Knight as well as former Classic winner John Stepien all working to take the top prize home despite the out of town influx.

Ricky Pritchard, Rusty Natoli and Ryan Coleman will join Dann as guaranteed starters in Clone while Knight, Matt Fay, and Kylie Sanford join Chris Natoli in Flathead.

All 150-laps of the RJ Kart Sales Fall Frenzy 150 have now been sold with $250 on the line in Pro Clone and a total of $545 in Pro Flathead.

Speed Tech Tire Solutions has also posted a $20 'Hard Luck' Award to the first non-qualified driver in the Stock Heavy 100 main event. Only 14 karts will start each feature.

The winner of the Stock Heavy 100 could potentially earn more than $1,000 while the Clone Heavy 50 champion could leave with north of $700.

The RJ Kart Sales Stock Heavy 100 will run 100-laps with a halfway break at lap 50. During the break drivers will have 15 minutes to service their karts, able to change anything except their tires and engine. Drivers must start the second 50-lap segment on the same tires they ended on for the first segment.

The Clone Heavy 50 will work in the same manner with the 15 minute halfway break coming at lap 25.

Live pit stops will be allowed during race conditions in each event, with tire changes at this time being acceptable.

Entry blank information and pricing for the Stock Heavy and Clone Heavy events on September 20 is available under the Fall Frenzy tab at www.oswegokartway.com.

Other divisions competing Sept. 20 will be standard entry fees.

Pit gates open at 4 p.m., Sept. 20, with one round of practice at 6 p.m. Time trials for the Fall Frenzy 150 will begin at 7 p.m.
