Area residents unable to view SUNY Oswego's Dec. 12 commencement ceremony live, or who would like to view it again, may catch rebroadcasts throughout the following week on Time Warner Cable.

The ceremony will feature as speaker Louis A. Borrelli Jr., a 1977 alumnus and media industry pioneer who will also receive an honorary doctoral degree from SUNY.

Customers with regular digital boxes can see the rebroadcasts on Channel 96; those without set-top boxes can view them on Channel 97.3.

The commencement ceremony will air live on those channels (as well as via web from a link on the www.oswego.edu homepage) at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, from the Marano Campus Center arena and convocation hall.

The ceremony will re-air on the above TV stations at 8 p.m. and midnight on Dec. 12.

From Sunday, Dec. 13, through Sunday, Dec. 20, the ceremony will air four times per day, at 6 a.m., noon, 8 p.m. and midnight.

More than 500 SUNY Oswego students are eligible to take part in December 2015 graduation.
