Lisa Glidden, a member of the political science faculty at SUNY Oswego and an expert in Cuban politics, will present "Market Reform, Poverty and the Effects on Cuban Civil Society" from 12:45 to 2 p.m. Feb. 20 in Room 114 of the Campus Center. Her respondent will be David Andrews of the economics faculty.

     Tania Ramalho of Oswego's School of Education curriculum and instruction faculty will address "Who Has the Right to Eat? Hunger, the Bolsa Familia Social Program, and Poverty of Solidarity in Brazil" from 12:45 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in Room 133 of the Campus Center.

     On Wednesday, April 16, Charles Kenny, Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington, D.C., will present "Can Silicon Valley Save the World?" from 4:35 to 6 p.m. in the Campus Center auditorium. His respondent will be Ulises Mejias of the SUNY Oswego communication studies faculty.

     Free and open to the public, the series will include light refreshments.
