SUNY Oswego Summer Program Enhances Language Skills Submitted Photo

     SUNY Oswego's Dr. Tracy Lewis (center), a distinguished teaching professor in the department of modern languages and literatures, listens in July 29 as international students in the Division of Extended Learning's Summer Intensive English Program brainstorm a story to tell in English for the 14 other students in their class.

     This summer, 85 students from eight countries enrolled in Summer Intensive English, which aims to advance their listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, grammar and writing -- complete with visits to New York City, Niagara Falls and the Thousand Islands to further sharpen their skills.
