SUNY Oswego's Student Association presented a check to Clear Path for Veterans at a recent Crunch ice hockey game in Syracuse: $7,119 from two fundraising events held among the Oswego student body.

A bingo fundraiser took place last semester. In a recent "Miss-a-Meal" fundraiser, students skipped a meal included in their meal plans and SUNY Oswego's Dining Services collected the proceeds to add to the donation. Pictured are Ben Parker, SUNY Oswego veteran services coordinator; Melissa Spicer, Clear Path for Veterans co-founder; Ben Nordmark, SUNY Oswego Veterans' Club vice president; Emily Nassir, SUNY Oswego Student Association's Miss-a-Meal fundraiser coordinator; Terry Finley, Clear Path for Veterans national outreach director with Eden Tyler Finley; and Alyssa Amyotte, SUNY Oswego service learning and community service coordinator. Clear Path for Veterans empowers service members, veterans and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment.
