Oswego Speedway Supermodified veteran Jerry Curran will kick-off his 2014 racing season this Saturday at the Woodchuck Saloon in Oswego with a chicken barbeque race team fundraiser.

Curran, a two-time Novelis Supermodified feature winner at Oswego Speedway, posted four top ten feature finishes at the Speedway in 2013 including two top five efforts with a season high third place run during the $10,000 to win Mr. Novelis Supermodified main event last August.

The driver of the Nuclear Banana No. 24 Hawk Supermodified returns in 2014 as a part of the Speedway's Commitment Program, looking to add yet another main event win to his resume.

Curran's team fundraiser will be held at the Woodchuck Saloon on Mitchell St. in Oswego this Saturday, March 8. The fundraiser will feature a chicken barbeque along with several raffles and door prizes. The event will begin at 1pm.
