Write a commentThe Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce is promoting a Taste the Market Cooking Competition, Thursday, September 10 at the Oswego Farmer’s Market.
Area restaurant’s and their chef’s will be using items from the vendors at the market, highlighting the great vegetables, fruits, meats and spices that are available to prepare healthy meals.
The event will begin at 4:30 with introductions of the judges, participants and the participating vendors. The participants will b...e provided their “bag of goodies” at 5 PM, leave to gather their spices and other cooking supplies. The cooking will begin at 5:30 and completed at 6 PM. At 6, the judging will take place and the winners will be announced. Participating will be Aunt Mary’s Catering, Bistro 197, Cidermoon Café, and Red Sun Fire Roasting Company. Come join us for the fun and cheer the chefs on but most importantly come down and enjoy the Farmers’ Market.
Sophie Woods will be entertaining from 5:30p-6:00p and then at again 6:30p.
