Director Jordan Westfall is calling all actors 18+ to come on out and play some reindeer games! Show calls for 5m, 3w. Production dates are December 4 (Kallet Theater, Puaski, NY) & 10 (The Eis House, Mexico, NY) so far.

Audition location - Art Association - Fort Ontario Complex - located at the north end of east 4th - just before entering Fort Ontario historical site.

Eight reindeer dishing about the real Santa. All those rumors you've heard about him and the elves? About Rudolph's little secret? About Vixen's story that was leaked to the press? All true. Yes, the reindeer finally speak up and - believe us - they do not hold back!

"Wickedly Topical- The New York Times, "Excellent thought provoking."" - Dramalogue Magazine, "Arrestingly funny." - Village Voice, "Brilliant." - Los Angeles Weekly, "Delightful." - Chicago Sun-Times, "Inspired." - Time Out New York

Roles available:

Dasher: The leader. 'Number one from day one.' He is militant, disciplined and takes no crap from anyone...not even Mr. Claus. Still nursing a bruised ego from the Rudolph debacle, Dasher opens the show with tones of anger, frustration, and utter disbelief.

Cupid: 'The Goddess of Love', Cupid is the only openly gay reindeer on The Eight. He is fresh, fabulous and riddled with middle child syndrome and slight abandonment issues. He knows everything about everyone and relishes in dishing the dirt.

Blitzen: The feminist. Blitzen is smart, outspoken and unapologetic. About everything. She knows for absolute certain what happened to Vixen and she isn't resting until charges are brought against Santa and Christmas is canceled.

eight reindeer WANTED AuditionsPrancer aka 'Hollywood': The drama queen. Terrified of being pushed out of the spotlight, Hollywood has no desire to cooperate with the current investigation at hand. This deer will talk about anything, from Rudolph, to Donner, to their own 90s Box-Office flop, rather than give Vixen or even Santa any kind of platform. **CAN BE MALE OR FEMALE**

Comet: The rehabilitated. Once a rebel bad boy, Comet has spent the last several years converting to Islam, finding inner peace and defending his Lord and Savior: Saint Nick. No one can convince Comet that Mr. Claus is anything less than divine...and he is not afraid of publicly shaming everyone else on the team in making that defense.

Dancer: The comedienne. Dancer is easily the most liked reindeer on the team, seldom engaging in any negative dramatics with her teammates. As a Jew, she absolutely loves to gab, and she knows how to work a room. She is a mix between Fanny Brice and Joan Rivers. She has no idea what to believe about Vixen, and feels very conflicted about the lines being drawn in the sand on her team.

Donner: Rudolph's father. Before joining The Eight, Donner was an out-of-work, down-on-his-luck, sad sack of a deer. But after negotiating Rudolph's role as leader of The Eight, along with a blockbuster movie deal, Donner now remains the wealthiest member of the team and highly resented by many. What his teammates do not know, however, is the trauma of what happened to Rudolph all those years ago upon making these arrangements, and the daily guilt Donner has lived with ever since.

Vixen: The victim. A widow, Vixen has been a controversial public figure for several years prior to the start of this show. A former Playmate, she is known for using her sexuality and beauty to obtain what she needs/wants in life. She feels more than insulted, however, at the accusations that she is either lying or exaggerating about the events concerning her sexual assault. She may be promiscuous, but she was not asking to be raped. And more than anything else, she wants her story told with truth and dignity.

*** A second audition will be held in the Syracuse area - details coming soon***
