Wayne G. Stevens, 88 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Crouse Irving Hospital.
Waynes was born in Massena, and was a son of the late George and Eva Brown Stevens.
He was the husband of Marilyn Bessette Stevens.
Wayne served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and returned to his job at New York Central Railroad. He was then employed for 37 years with Niagara Mohawk. Following his retirement from Niagara Mohawk, he and his wife retired to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from Malone, NY.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Jacqueline (Steven) Rusho, of Loveland, Colo., James (Tammy) Stevens, of Oswego, Mark (Mary Jo) Stevens, of Warners and John (Mary) Stevens, of Oswego. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Scarlet.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 p.m., Friday, May 31, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
