With the warming weather of Spring, there are so many different amphibians, reptiles, and mammals wandering around our county and our woods. The environmental educator will discuss the wildlife that can be found at Amboy, then lead a guided walk through the trails to try and find these animals. The group may catch frogs or salamanders, run into the newly hatched goslings, or spot the resident beavers working on their dam. The educators at the Center are wild for wildlife and hope you are too!
The fee for this program is only $4 per person, or $12 for a family. Children under the age of three are free. The recommended age for these programs is five and up. Even if you are unable to attend the programs, trails at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center are open from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. There is no parking fee, and there is a map of the trails when you arrive.
