The Wooden-Apple Farmstead, with support from the CNY Arts Center, is hosting it's 5th annual Music Festival over Labor Day weekend in Palermo, NY. This event, located at 1489 County Route 4 in Palermo includes a Songwriters' Contest, a pancake breakfast, and a full day of great music.

The event begins Friday evening, Sept. 2 at 6pm with a songwriter contest. Open to the public, local new and emerging songwriters compete for cash prize and the honor of performing on the festival main stage the next day. Past winners include The Early Bird Trio, Kay Miracle, and Sera Bullis. Musicians interested in being a part of the contest should contact Gina Holsopple at 315-591-0711 or [email protected].

Saturday morning begins with a pancake breakfast at 9am and music begins at 10am. Musical acts include John McConnell, Genessee Ted, Sera Bullis, Jim Shaffer, and Gina Holsopple.
