The event will be held rain or shine.

Each age group will participate in a hunt in a designated-area filled with eggs followed by raffles for prizes. Parents will be allowed in the toddler section only to assist their children.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Ages 1-4, hunt at 10 a.m. (special roped-off area)
  • Ages 5-7, hunt at 10 a.m.
  • Ages 8-10, hunt at 10:30 a.m.
  • Special needs, hunt at 11 a.m.

“The Easter Egg Hunt in Breitbeck Park will be an exciting event four our children to get outside and celebrate the easter holiday.  I’d like to thank the folks from the Kiwanis Club and the City-County Youth Bureau for organizing what will surely be a fun event,” said Mayor Billy Barlow.

Performance Fitness will be on hand to provide assistance with the activities. Snacks, arts and crafts, and refreshments will be provided at the pavilion. The Oswego Fire Department will be on hand with a fire truck for tours. Photographs with the Easter bunny will be available courtesy of IHeart Oswego.

The event is outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Easter baskets and egg coloring kits are available at the Youth Bureau, 70 Bunner St., Oswego while supplies last.
