Write a commentThe Fulton Art Association awarded a deserving Fulton senior for his achievement in art for the 2025-2026 school year.
Meredith Gill-Williams and Ben Jerred of G. Ray Bodley High School selected the recipient of the $100 scholarship. The 2026 Art Award was awarded to Justin Wallace.
Justin was a senior intending to further his art talent at college. Per his teachers, “Justin has taken almost every art class offered at G. Ray Bodley – everything from Studio in Art, Ceramics, Drawing and Painting to Digital Media. He is interested in and participated in digital game design, theater, set designs, music, and has displayed his work in many art shows.” He won an Honorable Mention in the Fulton Art Association’s 17th High School Invitational this year in Printmaking for his entry “Garfield.”
He pushes himself to try new forms of visual arts and is often sketching in his sketch book new ideas and concepts. Recently he has been exploring textile arts and competitive ceramics.
Justin is the son of Mariah Wallace. He will be attending St. Bonaventure majoring in Communications and Minoring in Art.
