Two exciting new events are coming soon to the Art Association of Oswego.

The 36th Annual AAO Members’ Art Exhibition will be held from
July 11 through August 9.

This exhibition will be hung in the Timothy McHenry Gallery on the second floor of the Art Center.
A number of prizes will be awarded, including cash and a solo show award for 2027. The suggested theme of this year’s members’ show is Fashion.

The opening reception for this show will be held on Saturday, July 11 from 7 to 9 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Music and refreshments are planned.

In conjunction with the Members’ Show, there will be an installation in the Kirk Beason gallery on the first floor of the Art Center by Michael
Flanagan called Precarious Diorama. Flanagan is a fine artist who combines his interest in painting and found objects with his experience in museum and gallery work.

The Art Association of Oswego is located at 30 Barbara Donahue drive, at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego, directly across from
Historic Fort Ontario. Regular gallery hours are Saturdays 10-1pm, Sundays 1-4pm, Wednesdays 10-1pm, and Thursdays 5-8pm. For more information, check www.oswegoarts.org.
