Beverly M. Clancy, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday March 7th, 2026 having lived a full and meaningful life.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband Joe, whom she missed dearly.
Beverly was a natural caretaker, always putting others first and making sure those around her felt welcomed and loved. Like her mother, she had a passion for clothes and shopping. She was well known for her position as a buyer and salesperson at Argersingers Deptment Store . She was also a proud member of OABPW staying active and connected in the community she called home.
For over 20 years, you could reliably find Beverly at Vona’s Restaurant two or three times a week . Her routine was well known, first a drink at the bar, then settling into a table surrounded by family and friends always sharing stories, laughter and good food .
Oswego was always home to Beverly, but for more than 30 winters she escaped to Fort Myers Beach, a place she truly loved. There, she formed lasting friendships, cherished every moment in the sunshine and learned to play her favorite game of dominoes.
Above all else, Beverly loved her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart .
In her later years, her great-grandchildren became her greatest joy. In 2020 she moved to Camilus to be closer to them, where she spent her final years watching them grow. A gift she treasured deeply.
Beverly also loved going out to eat, traveling and simply enjoying life with the people she cared about. She will be remembered for her warmth, style and devotion to family and many friendships she formed along the way. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children; Marilyn Clancy Borden (James), Kevin Clancy (Michele), Mark Clancy (Jamie) and Colleen Clancy. Grandchildren; Brian Borden (Missie), Sarah Nugent (Drew) and Catherine Clancy. Great grandchildren; Peyton, Brooke and Jett Nugent and several special nieces and nephews.
