The Bucs started off strong with a highly contested dual meet against Auburn. The Bucs pulled off a 42-40 dual meet win. Then, the Bucs were able to secure a dual meet victory against the ESM Spartans by a score of 48-33. However, the Buccaneers were unable to match-up against the host team of Cato-Meridian / Jordan-Elbridge / Port Byron / Union Springs. The Bucs fell to the Cato Duals Champs with the final dual meet score being 59-15. The Buccaneers effort on the day secured a Second Place finish with a record of 2-1.
Nathan Gentile (2-0), Lee Anne Hosien, Manson Weaver all picked up their first varsity wins.
Josh Favata, Nathan Freebern, Connor Kingsley, Aaron Be Vard all went 2-1.
Ethan Doran was the only Buccaneer to post a 3-0 record on the day securing the team MOW (most outstanding wrestler).
