Write a commentCaron Ann Armour, age 77 passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, peacefully at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
She was born on January 3, 1946 to James Howard and Rita (Caron) Hayes. She graduated from Syracuse Central Technical High School where she started out running her father’s restaurant, made her own path as a hairstylist that owned her own shop and soon went into real estate which is where she retired. Caron enjoyed gardening, and being at the lake with her family. She was the wife of the late Gary Armour, who died in 2016.
Caron is survived by her children Stacey Hornbeck of Oswego, Dennis Hornbeck of Sandy Creek; Stephanie (Mark) Dobrowolski of Oswego; a granddaughter, Abigail Dobrowolski; Her memory will forever live on with her granddaughter, who was her absolute world. Services for Caron will be a Celebration of Life in the summer of 2024. Contributions in her memory can be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Oswego.
