The Holiday History Shop returns to Oswego to help holiday shoppers with gift-giving ideas. Located in the former King Arthur's Restaurant at 7 W. Bridge St., Oswego, the shop features souvenirs and memorabilia from museums and historical societies from around the county.

Diane Marcus, of Essential Business Etiquette, will discuss how to represent your business at social events during the holidays at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, 8 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at the SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center in the Oswego County Industrial Park, Phoenix (exit 14, State Route 481).
Oswego Speedway will take part in Saturday's, Nov. 24, Toys for Tots Day of Sharing at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center located on East First Street, in Oswego, as a part of the Best Western PLUS Captain's Quarters hotel. The event offers several free activities as well as photos with Santa made available with the contribution of a new and unopened toy.
The Oswego Public Library invites area residents to come and create a charm bracelet

Now through Dec. 3, the whimsical creations of Eileen Belaska Sprague are on display in the lowest level of the Oswego Public Library, 120 E. Second St.
A new work by SUNY Oswego playwright Brad Korbesmeyer, "Twain's Last Chapter," will headline the famed author's 177th birthday celebration at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford on Nov. 30.
Supporters of the United Way of Greater Oswego County filled the Parish Center of St. Joseph's Church, in Oswego, as the community came together to enjoy a delicious meal of soup, salad, rolls and desserts at the United Way's "Stone Soup" Luncheon. The United Way's Annual Stone Soup Luncheon creates an awareness of hunger in the community and offers a way for the community to come together to share a meal and contribute to local food pantries.
A public community forum on bath salts is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 27 in the Robinson-Faust Theatre of the Performing Arts at Oswego High School.
The Oswego Music Hall is excited to bring Ellis Paul – one of the folk circuit's most popular and dependable headliners – to its stage at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1.
