Donald E. Bishop Jr., 58, of New Haven, died December 13, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Donald and Ann (Jermyn) Bishop Sr.
He was employed at Exellon for 35 years.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, his family camp in Canada, being at his farm house, having pool parties and working out. He especially loved his wife Debbie, the source of his strength, especially this past year.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie (Cienava) Bishop of New Haven, a brother, Timothy J. Bishop from Scriba, a sister, Kathleen (John) Manion from Minetto, Brother-in-law, Michael (Linda) Cienava, Sister-in-law, Kelly Swasey, Father-in-law, Michael Cienava, and Mother-in-law, Carol Cienava, Aunt Helen Jermyn, Aunt Rose Jermyn, Uncle Jack (Karen) Jermyn. Two nieces, Caitlin Welling and Lauren Sharkey. Two nephews, Jarrett and Luke Swasey.
Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by Brother-in-law, Everett Swasey.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, 1-4 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany, Oswego.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
