Write a commentEdna Ellen Bush, 76 of Oswego passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Manor at Seneca Hill.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Anna Everett Bush.
Ms. Bush had been employed for many years at the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Station.
Edna dedicated much of her life to her family, her friends, and her pets. More specifically, her time and energy were devoted to her four nephews.
She will be remembered for her support and involvement in the lives of her nephews and family members, along with friends and coworkers.
Outside of work, Edna found joy in yards sales, craft shows and the things that brought the people she cared about together.
Those who knew her love of clowns, her honesty, how much she loved her family, and how she would do anything to be present and in support of her nephews.
Edna’s greatest legacy was love for family.
She leaves behind not only family and friends, but also countless memories she shared with many of us. That dedication will remain with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Edna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by two brothers, Richard (Denise Weeks) Bush of Baldwinsville, John (Heidi) Bush of Oswego, one sister Karen K. (Tracy) Canale of Oswego, four nephews, Paul Bush, Anthony (Jaclyn) Canale, Alex Bush. Brandon (Natalie Marshall) Canale, one niece Katrina Bush Williams, great nieces, Carmen Canale, Sophia Bush and Isabel Williams.
Funeral and burial services will be private at the convenience of the family.
