Obituaries

Gladys V. A. Woodward, 74 of Oswego passed away Tuesday at her home.

She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys France Nearbin.

Gladys was the wife of Edward Woodward.

She had been employed for many years with the Oswego County Mental Health Facility in Oswego.

Gladys enjoyed watching the Yankees, baking and spending time with her family. She was an avid bingo player.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Tim) Reed and Christian Murphy both of Oswego, two sons, Charles E. (Alana) Murphy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Brian (Kendra) Murphy of Florida, fourteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by seven sisters and one son, James Michael Murphy.

Do to the current circumstances services will be private at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.
