Obituaries

Gloria J. (Avery) Myers, 73, of Oswego, died April 11, 2018.

Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Almeta (Taber) Avery.

She loved spending time with friends, family, grandchildren, dog Carmen, grand pup Maci and special friend Annie.

She enjoyed Bingo with the Bingo Babes and trips to the Turning Stone Casino.

Surviving are her children, Chris (Jeff) Marsh; Edward (Sherri Thompson) Myers; Roger (Laura Budd) Myers; Rick (Lori) Myers; Brenda (Charlie) Baldoze and Michael (Tracey) Myers, all of Oswego; her brothers, Bobby (Janey) Avery of Syracuse and Rick (Loretta) Avery, of Oswego; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Myers; and brothers, Mike and Buddy Avery.

Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.

Services and burial will be held in the Spring at Peck’s Cemetery, Scriba.
