The Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GOFCC) by CenterState CEO officially kicked off the 35th season of Project Bloom this week with community planting efforts across Oswego and Fulton, continuing a decades-long tradition of beautification, collaboration and community pride throughout Oswego County.

Constellation returns as the 2026 presenting sponsor, supporting beautification efforts across multiple planting locations and public spaces throughout the season. Veterans Memorial Park once again serves as the signature planting site for the initiative and features exclusive presenting sponsor recognition.

Volunteers from Novelis and Pathfinder Bank also participated in this year’s kickoff, planting flowers at the East 10th Street berm and Washington Square Park. In Fulton, GOFCC staff, volunteers from the Fulton Garden Club and Eastern Shore Insurance Agency planted all five Fulton Welcome Signs, creating floral displays at each major entry point into the city.

This year, Project Bloom included the delivery of 90 flower baskets to Fulton businesses, installation of 65 hanging flower baskets throughout Oswego, beautification of five Fulton Welcome Signs and four parks and public spaces in Oswego, and the planting of more than 500 flowers by volunteers and community partners.

“Project Bloom is a reflection of what is possible when businesses, organizations, volunteers and community members come together with a shared sense of pride in Oswego County,” said Taylor Davis, operations manager for the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership and volunteer support that help this initiative grow and thrive year after year.”
