Guest Host Rich Hart Leads Off Oswego Music Hall Open Mic Friday, February 6

Oswego Music Hall continues its Open Mic Friday series on Friday, February 6. Show begins at 7:00 PM; sign-ups at 6:30.     

Guest Host, Rich Hart, leads off Open Mic Friday and will be followed by performers who sign up that night. Doors open at 6:30 with sign-ups taking place then and throughout the evening, as space allows. Musicians typically play three songs each.

All ages and experience levels are welcome. Budding performers, singer-songwriters and musicians of all genres are given an opportunity to perform in a supportive environment using cutting edge professional sound and lighting equipment.

Rich Hart is a singer/ songwriter, and lifelong Oswego area resident. He plays a mix of classic rock and originals at a variety of venues, in and around the Fair Haven, Fulton, and Oswego locales. For more info., please visit Rich Hart on Facebook/ Messenger or email [email protected].

Scheduling guest hosts for Open Mic Fridays is Coordinator Bryan Dickenson. Open Mics are held on the Friday night prior to Saturday’s National Stage concert. Oswego Music Hall welcomes the following Guest Hosts for the Winter/Spring season: Ernie Turpening (Feb. 20), Kenny Roffo (March 6), Bill DeMott (March 20), Lloyd Polack (April 10), and Larry Kyle (April 24).

On February 7, the season continues with Cliff Eberhardt accompanied by Louise Coombe; doors open at 7pm with show starting at 7:30. “Cliff is one of the most talented musicians on the solo acoustic circuit... full of well-crafted songs and rich, emotional vocals”, Seattle Post Intelligencer.  "Louise Coombe's voice is a gift from the gods, and how she uses it is a gift to us”, Christine Lavin.  Further information is found at https://cliffeberhardt.net/ and https://louisecoombe.com/. The wheelchair accessible venue is located in the McCrobie Civic Center, on 41 Lake Street in Oswego. It is adjacent to Breitbeck Park and overlooks Lake Ontario and the Oswego Harbor. The atmosphere is  intimate with candle-lit tables surrounding a small stage with light refreshments available. Tickets purchased at the door and refreshments are cash or check only.

Oswego Music Hall is a family-friendly, non-profit organization that has been run entirely by volunteers since its inception in 1977. Volunteers can earn admission to shows through various tasks — from running the sound board to making popcorn. Students can also earn credit for community service.
