Oswego County OFA Announces October Community Hours

Call Ahead to Make an Appointment –

Staff of the Oswego County Office for the Aging (OFA) and NY Connects Program continue to visit communities around the county to offer program information and application assistance to those who are unable to visit the Oswego office.

“Medicare open enrollment begins on Oct. 15 but, as we’ve also started assisting with HEAP applications, we’re really encouraging seniors to attend one of our monthly community hours,” said OFA Director Sara Sunday. “These meeting times are a great way to get in-person information and help at a location that’s convenient for them.”

October community office hours include:

• Fulton Public Library, 160 S. First St., Tuesday, Oct. 14, 1 to 3 p.m.
• Central Square Library, 637 S. Main St., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m. to noon
• Mexico Public Library, 3269 Main St., Thursday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. to noon.
• Amboy Town Hall, 822 NYS Rte. 69, Friday, Oct. 24, 1 to 3 p.m.
• Pulaski Public Library, 4917 N. Jefferson St., Monday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to noon.
• Sandy Creek Town Hall, 1922 Harwood Dr., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 10 a.m. to noon
