With the passage of P.L. 119-21, otherwise called the Big Beautiful Bill, all kinds of questions are swirling around us.

For most of us, it’s very confusing and certainly is causing all kinds of anxiety. We know that somethings are beginning now, and that there is much more to happen as the months unfold. But what are they? And who will they affect?

Indivisible- Oswego County will be holding an informative Community Meeting to address many of these questions as well as giving you an opportunity to ask yours. While our Oswego County Legislature remains silent and seems to be making no preparations to inform its constituents, we feel folks around the county are needing to know just what to expect.

On Saturday August 9th, IOC will be holding its next Community Meeting from 1 – 3 pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 45 E. Utica St. Oswego, NY, inviting the public to attend an informational workshop which will outline the basics of the bill, highlight issues that will affect our farmers, businesses, healthcare, and community support agencies as well as our very personal needs.

The public is welcome to attend this free meeting. No registration is necessary. We hope to see you there with lots of questions.
