James L. Bechtel, 51, of Scriba died Friday January 1, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Oswego the son of Virginia Bechtel of Oswego and the late Paul H. Bechtel Sr. Mr. Bechtel was a past member of the Scriba Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his son James. R. Bechtel and his mother Rochelle Lewis both of Parish; his brothers Paul (Renee) Bechtel Jr. of FL., Robert (Jolene) Bechtel of Mexico; his fiancée Karen Abbott and her son Justin Abbott both of Scriba, and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of James life will be Saturday from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Scriba Fire Hall.
