Write a commentJoseph “Joe” Joey” F. DiRenna, 63; of Fulton, NY; passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 4, 2026 at his home.
He was born in Fulton, NY the son of the late Frank J. and Rose (Squitieri) DiRenna Sr.
Joey enjoyed photography and walking. He loved spending time with his family and he also liked attending the Catholic Charities Oswego County Step by Step Wellness Program.
Joseph is survived by brother Frank J. (Kathleen Beauchene) DiRenna, Jr. of Ohio, niece Julia DiRenna of Illinois as well as his Uncle Al “Sookie” Squitieri of Fulton, NY, and Aunt Pat Squitieri of Florida as well as cousins from the Squitieri, D’Agostino, DeCare, Olin, Frontale and Pettit families.
Along with his parents he was predeceased by his Aunt Anna Squitieri, Uncle Fred Squitieri, Aunt Hope and Uncle Al D’Agostino, Aunt Annette and Uncle Bob DeCare and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Calling Hours will be conducted at 10:30 to 11:30 AM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St., Fulton followed by a Time of Remembrance. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery Fulton, NY.
