Three Oswego High School students were accepted into Junior High Area All State Orchestra and Band. Connor Sheene, Jeremy Braiman and Mike Allen will perform at Cortland Junior/Senior High School this weekend.
The boys varsity volleyball team is headed for the Section III Class AA title game while the football team finished with a four game win streak to cap off a 5-4 winning season.
On Tuesday, December 3, the Oswego High varsity boys' basketball team headed to Corcoran in Syracuse for the lidlifter. In a hard fought, come-from-behind effort the Bucs lost a nailbiting 79-78 decision to the Cougars in a game that ended in double overtime.
The Oswego Lady Bucs swimmers finished 22nd among 150 teams at the New York State Championships and second place out of all the Section III team represented at the state level.
The Lady Bucs swept a three game North County hockey series while the bowling team split with Syracuse and the boys' hockey team lost a battle amongst division leaders.

The students submitted their NYSSMA score given to them based on their solo performances last May. There are 39 school districts involved in the Central New York region. The students were given very demanding music to learn and will join with guest conductors of the highest caliber this weekend, Nov. 1-2.
