Senator Patty Ritchie visited the morning universal pre-kindergarten class at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School. She spent quite some time with the children, observing and assisting some as they worked on various aspects of their learning.
The members of the newest Oswego High School Athletic Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Buc Booster Club, will appear at halftime Saturday, April 20, at the girl's varsity lacrosse game at Wilber Field.
An ELA (English Language Arts) Pep Rally, including Mr. Buc along with cheerleaders, prepped the Kingsford Park Elementary third-, fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade students for state testing. Cheers were loud and enthusiasm high as student testing approached. In front were the ELA banner persons Chloe Gunn, Victoria Crisafulli and Abby Faul while the cheerleaders were Julie Roman, Alyssa Morley and Katie Fierro. Fifth-grade teachers, Jessica Burridge and Kelly Moxley, joined with Mr. Buc.
The "Class of 2012" will be inducted into the Oswego High School Athletic Hall of Fame this Saturday, April 20, at Alexandria's.
