     Compass Credit Union recently donated $2,500 to be split evenly between Fitzhugh Park, Leighton, Charles Riley and Kingsford Park Elementary Schools as well as the Middle School which will be used in the holiday assistance to families and students in need. All of the schools are part of the "Bank at School" program.
     This is the first year the Oswego Middle School (OMS) has participated in the program and the "tellers," Laura Bornheimer, Jordyn Sanders and Mary Bornheimer, accepted the check. Also on hand were Home and School President Jeff Wallace, Compass Credit Union marketing administrator Jackie Wiegand, OMS Principal Mary Beth Fierro and "In School Banking" advisor Kenn Kern.

     The boys modified "White" team played its final home game of the year, beating Baldwinsville 56-45.

     Two more victories came for the Oswego modified blue volleyball team with wins over Baldwinsville and Central Square.

     The Oswego varsity wrestling team lost to Auburn 42-21 at the Oswego Middle School.

     The Oswego boys' indoor track team opened its 2012-13 season with a strong performance at the Jack Morse Holiday Relays.

     The bowling teams went back into action to face off against Cicero-North Syracuse where the boys won two of three games and the girls won all three points.

     A four goal outburst by Justin Clark led the Oswego Buc boys' hockey team to a 7-0 blanking of Clinton at the Clinton Arena.

     A furious second-half charge carried the Oswego varsity girls' basketball team to a 49-45 victory over host Henninger on Tuesday.

     The Oswego Buccaneers kicked off their 2012-2013 season with a 100-77 win Monday night against Weedsport.
