Write a commentKaren G. Jermyn, 75, of Oswego passed away on June 8th, 2019 at home.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Geraldine (Heimhilger) Arden.
She met and married her husband, the late John “Jack” Jermyn and together raised two sons. She earned her Nursing Degree from Upstate Medical Center in 1964 and later worked as a Registered Nurse at the Oswego Hospital.
Karen loved cruising with her husband, and also enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling and trips to the casino. She and Jack loved spending their winters in Winter Haven, Florida.
Surviving are her sons, David Jermyn of Oswego and Dean (Jennifer) Jermyn of California; three grandchildren, Alex, Halley and Jayden Jermyn; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jack and her sister Cherryl Claus.
Calling hours will be on Friday, June 14th from 3-5PM with a Funeral Service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street.
